Philippines ~ U.S.A. ~ Colombia
MHFR Philippines:
MHFR program has been conducted at the following schools, colleges and universities: De La Salle – College of St. Benilde, De La Salle Santiago Zobel School (once for the basic training and three times for the MHFR LTE), Poveda College, Polytechnic University of the Philippines (twice for the Basic training and once for the MHFR LTE), Central Philippine University, De La Salle University Manila, De La Salle – College of St. Benilde (2nd run), La Salle College Antipolo, Sacred Heart School, and the University of Mindanao.
Other MHFR executions outside of the schools, colleges and universities are as follows: Northern Trust in BGC, Financial Time in BGC, AS White, Holcim International, CDAP Board members, Colab in Iloilo (2x); Century Plaza in Cebu, City, Cagayan de Oro, Malate at Space 1851, City Garden Hotel in Makati, Manila and Bohol Province in cooperation with Project Bohol: Mental Health Awareness.
MHFR USA:
MHFR has been conducted in the USA in collaboration with the Emergency Support Shelter in Longview, WA and with Pathways Mental Health Services, LLC in Lacey, Washington USA. MHFR originated in the USA and this is the training program of Pathways MHS in Lacey, WA.
MHFR Colombia, South America:
MHFR is in the preliminary stage of setting up the presence of MHFR in South America. The country of Colombia will be the first country that MHFR is planning to launch it's training program and assist with regards to access to mental health in the local community and in the military at large. Marjorie Ramos a former member of the Colombian Navy will be spearheading this collaboration.

What is the Mental Health First Response Training?
Mental Health First Response is a mental health crisis skills prevention and intervention workshop for individuals who want to gain valuable skills in assisting with mental health concerns and suicide intervention and prevention. This training program will assist anyone to intervene with someone who may be experiencing a mental health crisis and/or other mental health conditions that may or may not be a crisis situation. |

Mental Health First Response (MHFR) Training: Basic Training
In order to become a Mental Health First Responder, you will need to attend a one-day (8 hours) face-to-face training or the online course, in order to learn the Mental Health First Response materials and be able to use and apply the E.S.T.I.M.A.T.E. © core skills. |
Mental Health First Response Instructor Training: By invitation only
To become a Mental Health First Response Instructor, you will need to be trained and certified as a Mental Health First Responder first. You will need to attend the 2 days (8 hours each day) Mental Health First Response Instructor Training course in order to teach the MHFR to the general public. In order to keep your instructor certification in good standing, teaching the program at least five times a year is required. |
