We are Mental Health First Responders
Mental Health First Response Training is being launched across the Philippines in order to intervene when someone is having an emotional distress, mental health crisis and/or facing other mental health concerns. We are also conducting training in the USA and will soon be in Bangladesh.
If you are interested in hosting the Mental Health First Response training at your school, university, worksite, or another venue,
please email us at info@mhfirstresponse.org
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to assist any adults to intervene with someone who may be experiencing a mental health crisis and/or facing other mental health conditions that may or may not be a crisis situation.
The other mission of MHFR is to provide employment to those who are willing to be trained as an MHFR instructor. Thus, the program will not only help local communities, but also provide employment to those who are teaching the MHFR core skills to the general public.
Vision Statement:
MHFR vision is to promote, disseminate and teach the core skills of Mental Health First Response all over the Philippines and globally in order to save lives. It is also our vision to certify mental health first responders who are capable of intervening when it is needed in terms of mental health crisis or non-crisis situations.
