Required Documents:
- Master or PhD/DMFT in Marital or Couple & Family Therapy
- Master or PhD in Mental Health or Guidance Counseling
- Master of Arts/Science in Addiction Counseling
- Master or PhD in Psychology
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be enrolled in Graduate level (Master or Doctorate) Mental Health or Guidance Counseling, MFT, Addiction, Psychology or Social Work program.
- Must maintain student eligibility for duration of internship.
- Must adhere to the ethical standards of the Psychology or Counseling professions.
Required Documents:
- Resume that includes the following information:
- Contact information, including email
- Completed course work (unit/credit hours)
- Trainings completed to date (Continuing education or CPD)
- Work/volunteer experience including the work schedule and hours worked per week as well as dates of employment, title, series, and grade, if applicable
- University supervisor’s name, phone number and email address for reference checks
- Letter of Intent. Why would you like to intern at Mental Health First Response?
- Current transcript: An unofficial copy is sufficient with the application. Transcripts MUST include the student’s name, name of the school, current GPA/academic standing, past and current coursework, and degree program. If your school's transcripts or documentation do not provide all the necessary information listed above, you should include additional official academic documentation that meets the requirements.
- Internship contract or Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) from the University.
- NBI Clearance or Police Clearance.
- Proof of enrollment may include a screenshot of the semester class schedule, an official letter of enrollment, or official transcript. The document should show the academic institution where the student is actively enrolled in courses, the degree or certificate program, and enrollment of at least a half-time status (as defined by the academic institution).
